  • Working closely with Operations personnel and other departments to support system needs and emergency response efforts
  • Promoting a safe work environment and maintaining equipment in a safe and service-ready condition

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a dependable, safety-conscious individual who enjoys a mix of transportation, equipment operation, and hands-on support work.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two or more years of related experience
  • A valid Michigan driver's license and Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake and doubles endorsements and no restrictions
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and load securement practices
  • The ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification, or the ability to obtain and maintain certification
  • Strong organizational, recordkeeping, and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with spreadsheets and other business software
  • The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Willingness to work overtime and respond to operational needs, including storms and emergency situations
